Surf's Up

We couldn't wait to take Owen and Gray to the beach this summer.  In mid-June, we headed down to Brent's uncle and aunt's house at Topsail Beach for the week.  It was great!  The weather was nice except for maybe one day and we went to Wilmington that day.  The boys loved it!  Gray went straight to the water and we practically had to keep him in the shallow water the entire time.  Owen liked the water but didn't want to get out too far.  Owen loved building sand castles and pushing around his truck.  We loved walking on the pier, riding bikes, and eating some good seafood.  It was nice to get away with my family; however, it is a lot of work with two small kids at beach!  Owen has asked several times when we're going back.  Can't wait until next year!
