I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

After seeing O's excitement at the festivities on Christmas Eve, we couldn't wait for our little fellow to wake up on Christmas morning and see his "choo choo" under the tree. We finally got the thing all assembled shortly before midnight! O woke up and came down the stairs. He was very excited about the train table and immediately starting playing with it! It was so much fun to watch the big smile on his face. When we asked him who brough it to him, he said "Anta Claus". So cute.

We opened presents at our house and then headed to Reidsville for brunch at my parents home. We had a lot of great breakfast food and enjoyed seeing my Grandma, Uncle Johnny. Aunt Sally, Edmund, Maykayla, Mark & Elizabeth, and my parents. Mark & Elizabeth are expecting their first child in May and we are super-excited for them. After we ate, we opened presents and O got so many neat toys and was definitely excited about them. My parents have a dog and O just loves playing with her. It's funny to watch them chase each other around.

While we were opening presents, we looked outside and it was snowing! What a great way to make the day more special. We left and headed to Brent's uncle and aunt's home for a quick visit where we got to see some family that we don't normally see often. We left and by the time we got home the ground was covered and still snowing away. We ended up getting about 6 inches by the next morning.

We had a great day spending time with family and enjoying the winter wonderland outside. Most importantly, we were most thankful for the true meaning of Christmas - Happy Birthday Jesus!
